Alfa Laval KIX 4 spin flash dryer

This KIX dryer, type K4 - was build by Hammerum Machinery in Denmark, for Alfa Laval.

The KIX k4 dryer, is a spin flash dryer for drying of suspended particles in an gentle way.

The capacity of the dryer is mainly depending on air temperature and air amount.

Roughly speaken, with air supply on 20.000 Nm3/hour and temperature around 325 deg. Celcius, the drying capacity is 1.400 kg/h water evaporation. At reduced temperature, the capacity will be reduced proportionally.
